Amanda Ireland, MIPA FABRP

Amanda started her insolvency career in 1986 in the insolvency department of a large national firm of Chartered Accountants.  She moved to a medium sized Kent firm in 1990 and qualified as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in 2002.  Amanda was made a partner in 2008 and headed up  the insolvency department of that firm for many years.

In April 2023 Amanda and Alison pooled their knowledge and experience and set up Kent Insolvency Ltd.  Alison and Amanda both joined from the same firm where they worked together for about thirty years.

Amanda is licensed to deal with all types of insolvency cases by the Insolvency Practitioners Association.  As well as being a member of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association (IPA) Amanda is also a fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3). She is a former committee member of the R3 Small Practices Group and has been a course director of the SPG annual conference.  In the past Amanda has been an organiser of insolvency courses and conferences for the South Eastern Society of Chartered Accountants (SESCA).

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys gardening, socialising and travelling, particularly to the Far East. After many years of promising to take up golf but never getting around to it, Amanda finally started playing in 2016.  While still very much a novice, she thoroughly enjoys her time on the golf course – especially when the sun is shining!
