Alison Collier, MIPA MABRP

Alison Collier MIPA MABRP commenced her career in 1990, starting as a trainee accountant with a firm of Chartered Accountants.  She sat her AAT examinations. In 1996 she joined the insolvency team where she passed her Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency.

She qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2007 and is licensed to deal with all aspects of insolvency.  She specialises in Liquidations for both solvent and insolvent companies, bankruptcies and Individual Voluntary Arrangements.  Part of her role is to concentrate on compliance matters which she not only excels at but also enjoys as would describe her self as bit of a geek.

In 2023 she joined Amanda Ireland  to become a director of Kent Insolvency Limited.

Alison is member of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

Alison spends most of her spare time walking and training her rescue dog and since he came to her she has obtained a diploma in Canine Communication and Behavior.  Luckily since she has a large garden she has discover a new found passion for vegetable growing and gardening.  She also enjoys socialising with friends and loves a quiz night.  Over the passed few years she has also attended many concerts and has a very broad taste in music.  Many years ago Alison toured the country to complete the 92 football grounds in one season and has since learned the only county in England she has not visited is Rutland.
